Trigrams in Feng Shui
Another important component in Feng Shui is Trigram,
there are eight symbols or combinations, the trigrams,
each of which is made up of the characteristic three
parallel lines or broken lines, and again the third line
added is the line either for yin or yang. Each of the
three-lined symbols or trigrams has some significance. In
Feng Shui, the top line is the yin or yang, the either and
sky; the central line is the four seasons and points of
the compass; the lowest line represents man.
Each of the trigrams is given a name which is also a
trait or representation.

Through these relationship listed above, there's another way
for a master to use a timestamp or produce a Gua (hexagrams)
for a house's Feng Shui, the timestamp - trigram mapping can be
found and used in the numerology analysis and may use the
birthday (year, month, day, time) to look at Feng Shui on an individual
(fate). Sometimes this philosophy even be used in gambling or
horse racing in Hong Kong.
